Impressions from Beltringharder Koog, Germany, Summer 2025. A "[Koog]" is area reclaimned from the North Sea (the [Wadden Sea] to be precise), surrounded by Dykes. The Beltringharder Koog was the last one created and finished in the 1990ies and is now host to a [large swatch of birds][birdingplaces]. 

The small lorry train connects to the [Halligen] islands in the Watten Sea.
