Key Take-Aways:
A weather-sealed, stabilized 24–105mm f/4 standard zoom that spans wide to short telephoto in a 680 g body, focuses to 0.30 m for 0.5× macro, and uses 77 mm filters.
Professional reviews find good all-round optical performance with quick, quiet AF and useful OIS/close-focus capability, while noting a fairly heavy build for f/4, reliance on corrections for distortion/vignetting, and pricing that can feel high versus rivals.
As of Sep 21 2025, user sentiment is broadly positive. Owners praise its versatility and stabilization for travel and everyday work—though recurring comments mention weight and occasional edge/corner softness or not being as sharp as faster lenses at the long end.
