Description and Reviews
Key Take-Aways:
The Meike FF Prime Cine Lens 35mm T2.1 is a manual-focus full-frame cine prime with a T2.1 maximum aperture, 11 iris blades, an 82 mm filter thread, a 33 cm minimum focus distance and a 64 degree diagonal field of view on full frame. Meike sells it for $998 in the L-mount selection. As of Oct 2026, one written review and five videos are linked. Newsshooter’s Matthew Allard calls it an impressive offering for its price and a good balance of price and performance, though far from optically perfect: fairly sharp wide open with softer edges that improve at T4 to T5.6, no visible chromatic aberration in real-world use, reasonably round bokeh, and breathing that is present but reasonably well controlled. He did not like the flare, which veils wide open, found the color slightly cool and Zeiss-like, and noted uneven ring tension and a focus ring that drags toward infinity. cinemaK’s video looks at the lens’s basic characteristics, and Brock Roberts calls it an amazing budget cine lens. Spenser Sakurai reviews it within the full set of Meike full-frame cine lenses and Tao Hudson reviews the 35, 50 and 85 mm, saying he has no affiliation with Meike. Humcrush Productions includes it in a test of the whole 16 to 135 mm line.

Meike publishes the weight as a range of 1108 to 1182 g without naming a mount; the 1108 g in the frontmatter is the lower end of that range.
