Key Take-Aways:

The Meike FF Prime Cine Lens 16mm T2.5 is a manual-focus full-frame cine prime with a T2.5 maximum aperture, 10 iris blades, an 86 mm filter thread, a 25 cm minimum focus distance and a 107 degree diagonal field of view on full frame. Meike sells it for $1,099 in the L-mount selection. As of Oct 2026, three videos and no written reviews are linked. FoxTailWhipz titles its review of the lens "This Lens Is SHARP!" and describes it as an ultra wide, sharp, full frame cinema lens that might be the perfect option; the creator says Meike sent the lens but had no say in the content. The Film Guy's review title tells viewers to shoot wider with the lens, which Meike supplied for the review. Humcrush Productions tests the 16 mm together with the other Meike full-frame cine lenses up to 135 mm, with chapters on sharpness, distortion, breathing, bokeh, flaring and chromatic aberrations.

From Meike:

Meike publishes the diameter (Ø90 mm) for the PL, EF, RF and Sony E mounts and the length per mount, but no L-mount figures; the length of 123 mm is the Sony E figure (122.8 mm) only. Meike publishes the weight as a range of 812 to 890 g without naming a mount; the 812 g in the frontmatter is the lower end of that range.
