Description and Reviews
Key Take-Aways:
The Brightin Star 35mm f/1.4 is a very small, light manual-focus 35mm prime with a metal body and a switch that turns the aperture ring clicks on or off, with no data passed to the camera. Professional reviews praise the build, the compact size, the smooth focus ring, the bokeh and the colour, and criticise strong vignetting and distortion, softness and halation wide open that clears only from about f/4 to f/5.6, focus shift when stopping down, and artifacts in backlit scenes.
From Brightin Star:
Designed for L Mount full-frame mirrorless cameras, the BRIGHTIN STAR MF 35mm F1.4 delivers a bright F1.4 aperture, classic manual focus, and exceptional image quality. Compact design, infinite creativity — a classic humanistic focal length.
