15 elements in 11 groups — 2 ASPH, 2 high-refractive, 2 ED — deliver edge-to-edge clarity from cityscapes to the Milky Way. A 122.5° ultra-wide view with Japan OPTORUN coating for enhanced light transmission, a metal lens hood to block stray light, and a clicked aperture calibrated for accurate control. At f/8 or smaller the lens delivers a deep depth of field, keeping the whole image sharp for quick shots without focusing.
No front filter thread — the bulbous front element sits behind a fixed petal hood. Filters mount at the rear instead, in a 34mm rear filter holder; a Natural Night rear filter ships in the box, with ND1000/ND64 available separately.
