Description and Reviews

Key Take-Aways:

The 7Artisans AF 10mm f/2.5 is a full-frame 185-degree fisheye with autofocus, f/2.5 to f/16, a clicked aperture ring, 0.15 m close focus and a 504 g metal body, at $449. The maker’s product page names a dust-sealing gasket at the mount; a 7Artisans email quoted by The Phoblographer adds internal sealing yet says the lens is “not guaranteed to be 100% dustproof or weather-sealed”. Reviews from Aug and Sep 2026 also praise the rare autofocus, sharp centre and fun creative look, and criticise soft corners and coma wide open, occasional misfocus at f/8 and no de-click for video. Chromatic aberration findings are mixed: Photography By Mark G Adams saw little, while Camera Lookout and Camera Times relay other reviewers’ reports of colour fringing toward the frame edge. As of Oct 2026, sentiment is broadly positive.

From 7Artisans:

No longer just a lens for special effects. With autofocus, the fisheye becomes a versatile creative tool — for more scenes, more moments, and more expression. With an extraordinary 185° field of view, every frame captures more than the eye can see — revealing fresh perspectives from every angle.
