note: "Lens table page redesign: the filters are now compact chip rows instead of tall checkbox columns, sized to the table and no longer requiring scroll on any screen. The whole lens table page uses a wider column so header, intro, filters and table line up. The table keeps its width while you filter, the compare buttons match the chips, and the layout no longer jumps or grows stray scrollbars"
  - date: "2026-08-28"
note: "New-lens RSS feed is now linked from the lens table page and the site footer (https://www.endlesslycurious.net/lenses/index.xml)"
  - date: "2026-08-01"
note: "Lens table quality-of-life: the header row now stays visible while scrolling, and every column is sortable by clicking its header (the old sort dropdown is gone). Yes/no marks are easier to scan, full lens names are shown, and the filter grid got a live result count"
  - date: "2026-08-01"
note: "New site look: neutral gray-card light mode and lens-barrel dark mode, with details borrowed from lens engravings. Fonts are now self-hosted, no more Google Fonts requests"
  - date: "2025-10-14"
note: "Added three-state filter checkboxes: unchecked, AND (include), and NOT (exclude)"
  - date: "2025-08-09"
note: "Added auto-focus filtering toggles to all lens charts"
  - date: "2025-08-08"
note: "Enhanced lens chart interactivity with click navigation"
  - date: "2025-08-24"
note: "Re-added max magnification and close focus distance to main table"
  - date: "2025-09-08"
note: "Added Laowa to the list of brands and the first lens"
  - date: "2025-09-13"
note: "Added 'Probe' to filter list, and all current Laowa L-Mount lenses"
  - date: "2025-09-16"
note: "Added 'Cine' and 'Pancake' to the lens type filter and already added 'Viltrox' to the brand filter (no lenses yet)"
  - date: "2025-09-21"
note: "New lens comparison tool: you can now select up to 3 lenses and narrow down the comparison on them. Useful when filters alone aren't enough to widdle down a a list. Fixed missing lens category and zoom/prime to individual lens spec tables. Fixed some layoyt bugs (lens image adjusts now to table size). Squashed some minor bugs"
  - date: "2025-09-28"
    note: "Added first Blazar lenses"
  - date: "2025-11-23"
    note: "Removed the Laowa 9mm f2.8 Zero-D since it's not a full-frame lens"
  - date: "2026-08-25"
note: "Added angle of view to the lens table and spec pages: diagonal degrees at infinity, manufacturer figures only, sortable column between aperture and filter size. Covered where published (~140 lenses); budget brands without official figures stay blank"
